Trilogy of Death, Daniel’s Sacrifice, Poison Rouge Complete Collection – August Extreme/Horror Releases from Goredrome Pictures and TetroVideo
Gorehounds has announced the pre-order availability for Trilogy of Death, Daniel’s Sacrifice, and Poison Rouge Complete Collection on the official Goredrome Pictures and TetroVideo websites. There are three extreme film collections distributed in a limited Mediabook numbered edition (with 2 collectible cards and a slipcover limited to the pre-order) together with T-shirts and bottle opener keychains.
Trilogy of Death
Created by Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins, Doll Syndrome), the Trilogy of Death is an extreme trilogy that features Sacrifice (2016), Torment (2016), and Xpiation (2018) and is available in the limited Mediabook edition (Cover A and Cover B) in 50 copies only, with 3 Blu-rays + Booklet.
Written by Samuel Marolla (author of the comic book “Notturno Newyorkese”) and directed by Poison Rouge, Sacrifice is the fourth chapter in the extreme franchise American Guinea Pig and stars Roberto Scorza, here in the role of a self-harmer who tries to make sense of his life through pain and suffering. The cast also includes Flora Giannattasio.
Torment is directed by Adam Ford (Il museo della carne) from a screenplay by Likov Mitoloskih and sheds light on the cruelest and most perverse side of John Wayne Gacy (1942 – 1994), the serial killer known as “Pogo the Clown”, here played by Matteo De Liberato. Rikky Fiore, Marco Pielich and Manuel Favaretto also star. Torment is one of the winning films from the 2017 Nightmares Film Festival.
Written by Andrea Cavaletto (Hidden in the Woods) and directed by Domiziano Cristopharo, Xpiation is the final chapter in the “Trilogy of Death”. The story features a mysterious woman who, in a cruel game of perversions, sadistically watches a man being tortured by a drug addict (Simone Tolu). The cast includes Chiara Pavoni (Demonium, Hyde’s Secret Nightmare), Simone Tolu, and Emanuele d’Elia, and a soundtrack by Antony Coia (Nightmare Symphony).
Daniel’s Sacrifice
The collector’s edition of Daniel’s Sacrifice is limited to 100 copies only and includes the aforementioned Sacrifice (2016) by Poison Rouge and the unreleased prequel What have you done, Daniel? (2022) by Domiziano Cristopharo. The Mediabook edition (Cover A and Cover B) consists of 2 Blu-rays and a booklet.
In addition to the visceral display of self-harm that is Sacrifice, What Have You Done, Daniel? is a disturbing drama/horror film written by Andrea Cavaletto (Hyde’s Secret Nightmare, Hidden in the Woods) and starring Lynn Lowry, the cult actress of The Crazies (1973) by George A. Romero and Shivers (1975) by David Cronenberg. This prequel sheds light on the past of Daniel, the protagonist of Sacrifice, and his connection to the cult of Ishtar.
“The introverted Daniel takes care of his disabled mother (Lynn Lowry), a victim of an alcoholic and violent husband. After her death, the young self-harmer builds a relationship with a distant cousin who initiates him into a secret cult and, in the meantime, becomes the object of his father’s attention.”
Roberto Scorza, Flora Giannattasio, Francesco Giannotti, Chiara Pavoni, Elisa Carrera Fumagalli (Deep Web XXX), and the well-known Frank Laloggia, the director of Lady in White, star. The photography is by Daniele Trani (Oltre il Guado, Virus: Extreme Contamination) while the special effects are by Athanasius Pernath and Roberta Budicin.
Poison Rouge Complete Collection
The Poison Rouge Complete Collection is a definitive collection of all the films and short films directed by Poison Rouge. The Mediabook edition is available in 50 copies only and includes 3 Blu-rays + Booklet.
Featuring the aforementioned Sacrifice, TetroManiac: 61 – Scorecard Killer (2023), and a collection of short films and music videos (Greed, Mysophobia, Please Not in My Mouth, No One Will Be Safe!, A Perfume made with Bood&Tears, and more) by the Italian director.
TetroManiac: 61 – Scorecard Killer is directed by Poison Rouge in collaboration with Domiziano Cristopharo. The film is loosely based on the murders of Randy Steven Kraft, the American serial killer known as “Scorecard Killer”, played here by Roberto Scorza. The cast also includes Alex D’Alascio (episode “Deconstructing Roberto” in XXX Dark Web).
All three titles are available to purchase from Goredrome Pictures’ website here and TetroVideo’s website here.
